Our Senior Technicians are more experienced than a Junior Technician in terms of how long they have been Eyelash Extension Technicians. Our Junior Technicians are qualified lash technicians, that go through progress on floor training prior to them accepting paid appointments.

They are providing quality work while they improve on certain skills (for example, their consultation, timing, etc.). We have a customer satisfaction guaranteed policy that will ensure any fixes by a Senior Technician complimentary within the 7 days of appointment.

The duration of the services depend on which service you choose. We have many different sets to choose from.

Ideally if you are booking for a Classic Set, please expect anywhere from a 1.5 hour to 2 hour appointment.

For Volume Sets, please expect anywhere from a 2 hour to 3 hour appointment.

Times will vary on the selected service and natural lashes the client has.

Please arrive with no eye makeup. If you have eye makeup on, we have eye makeup remover at our salon that you are more than welcome to use. Please do not curl your eyelashes or wear mascara on the day of the service.

We have sets that will be customizing and fitting for each individual client. Half Sets are 50% coverage of your own natural lashes and Full Sets are 100% coverage of your own natural lashes. We offer both Half and Full Sets in Classic and Volume.

No, because your eyes will be closed. Please refrain from opening your eyes, since it will take up your appointment time. When you open your eyes, it can also push the tape towards your eyes.

We always recommend all our clients use the washroom before their appointment to avoid interruption to the service.

If you have to leave by a certain time, please let the technician know beforehand as they can check the time for you.

Lash Venue uses a safe waterproof bonding agent to apply the eyelash extensions directly onto your individual eyelashes. We do not apply onto the skin. The glues we use are quality glue that is formaldehyde free.

Please avoid wearing mascara and gel/pencil eyeliner. Please also avoid any waterproof eye makeup. You can use powder eyeshadow but no cream eyeshadows. Mascara and gel/pencil will leave residue and buildup on your lash extensions, in which we will need more time cleaning your lashes cutting into your appointment time. You may need to get them removed and redo a new set if it is excessive.

During the first 24 hours, it’s recommended to avoid getting your lashes wet. This will prolong the longevity of your lashes. Only use oil-free products around the eye area. Do not rub or tug your eyelash extensions. Do not wear waterproof mascara or false eyelashes on your eyelash extensions.

Eyelash extensions will not cause your lashes to fall out. Your own natural lashes fall out due to their life cycle, just like the hair on your head.

If extensions are not applied properly by a non experienced technician – natural lashes could get damaged due to an incorrect amount of glue, proper application and/or using extensions that are too heavy for the natural lashes based on the health of the hairs.

If you are getting your fills on time and taking proper care of your extensions, every set should have 50% or more of their extensions by the 3rd week. This excludes the seasonal shedding and lash cycles!

Every 30-45 days, all clients will shed their natural lashes to make room for new ones to grow through. We cannot predict when each client will have their lash cycle but when they do, they will find their extension falling off sooner with an attachment of their natural hair still intact.

Baby hairs will grow through and during this time your extension will not last as long and your fill will not be as full. We do not put extensions on the baby hairs until they have grown out enough, to handle the weight of the extension.

Yes they can. Please do not try removing them on your own, as rubbing and tugging can cause premature lash loss.

We use a specially formulated removal gel or cream that breaks down the glue and the extension slides right off without damaging your natural eyelashes.
